UPHMUN 2027 features two councils, each with an agenda topic tied to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

🎓 United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

Topic: Ensuring equitable access to quality education in conflict-affected and underserved region
SDG Link: SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)

👦 United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)

Topic: Protecting children's rights and access to basic services in regions affected by armed conflict and displacement
SDG Link: SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being)

Allocation policy: Council and country preferences are not guaranteed. Allocations are made on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date and time of your confirmed payment, subject to the availability of seats and the final decision of the Organizing Committee. Delegates who are unable to receive their preferred council or country will be assigned an alternative.
